Alkaline or acid cleaning removes oils, greases and adhering residues from aluminium – the first step in any pre-treatment process. It can also be combined with an etching step to carry out degreasing and etching in a single step.
Whether used as a single Alfinal etching process after cleaning or as a combined alkaline etching and degreasing process in one step, the Alfinal / Alfisid two-component system ensures both effective cleaning and the removal of oxides from the surface.
Etching with fluorides or complex-bound fluorides activates the metal surface and removes any remaining residues, thereby enabling effective subsequent corrosion protection – optimised for systems with evaporators and for use on a wide range of substrates.
Chrome-free Ti or Zr passivation — validated to Qualicoat and GSB-International, with simple wastewater treatment and a 10-year outdoor weathering track record.

Like Alfideox 114 but combinable with Alfideox 82/3 in the second stage. HF-based, specifically for evaporator-equipped lines. For low to medium etching rates, cost-effective.
Productive acid etching based on complex bonded fluorides that carries no GHS 06 (Acute Toxicity) labelling — avoids storage quantity restrictions and reduces the risk to workers compared with HF-based products. Combinable with Alfisid 9, 14, 16/3 as degreasing and etching. Good etching performance.
