What began on 9 August 1972 in Mülheim-Kärlich — with a handful of products and, as founder Otmar Monreal recalls, early customers still reachable by bicycle — has grown into a global chemistry brand present in 40+ countries. The name has changed. The commitment has not.
In 1983, Alufinish moved to its current home in Andernach. Today, Dr. Nils Monreal and Stephan Zegers lead the company into its next chapter — with the same values, a larger laboratory, and a network that spans every continent.
