Alufinish introduced its first chrome-free (ENVIROX) pre-treatment in 1998 — years before regulatory pressure made it mandatory. The ENVIROX processes are approved by Qualicoat and GSB International and meet the highest requirements. Today: 0 mg/l Cr(VI) across the entire ENVIROX product line.

Our Alfiseal cold-seal additives and mid-temperature sealing options can replace time-consuming, energy-intensive hot sealing — reducing sealing-step energy consumption at customer lines. The Alfinox 510 ENSAVAL AL process also cuts total energy consumption by 13% compared to conventional anodising additives. Since 2023, Alufinish production in Andernach runs on renewable electricity.

Alufinish GmbH & Co. KG operates a facility in Andernach that is subject to the German Major Accident Hazards Ordinance (Störfall-Verordnung, 12. BImSchV), implementing the EU Seveso III Directive. Under § 11 of this regulation, we are required to inform the public about our safety measures.
