Alfisatin – products

for a decorative, pickled satin finish (E6)

What can Alfisatin products do for you?

Alfisatin products are used in combination with sodium hydroxide to achieve a decorative pickled surface on aluminium. The higher the aluminium content, the matter the surface will appear - and the better material irregularities can be concealed. It goes without saying that the decorative E6 satin finish generated in this way is facilitated by a process that is both simple and safe. Excessive pickling foam would cause just as much trouble as poor draining behaviour on the products loaded as this makes the downstream rinsing process more difficult, and an unnecessarily large amount of pickling solution is lost. Besides this, a decorative finish on special alloys is a frequent requirement. The wide range of Alfisatin products available will enable you to rise to such challenges. Why not put us to the test!

Advantages:

Liquid, thus ideal for automatic dosing; analysable

The product to be pickled has optimal draining properties as a result of low viscosity in the bath

Pickling foam is reduced to an absolute minimum - no more overflowing pickling baths

A decorative pickled satin finish (E6) is achieved, determined by the aluminium content

Outstanding stabilisation of dissolved aluminium; an Al content of more than 200 g/l is possible

Pickling solution drains off fast enabling a higher aluminium content in the bath (= very matt finish)

Unwanted tramp metals (alloy constituents) are effectively removed

Pickling solutions can later be reused as recyclable material, e.g. for phosphate precipitation
