What does the Decor GreyAL process offer you?
In addition to the desire to be able to reproduce stainless steel colours on aluminium, one often wants to achieve significantly darker, decorative grey tones. This wish can now be fulfilled with the Decor GreyAL process. By choosing the appropriate colouring parameters, both light grey and dark grey coloured oxide layers can be produced in one bath.
Depending on the mechanical pretreatment, particularly decorative surfaces with their own characteristics are possible. The colouring is done analogously to the well-known electrolytic two-step colouring process by a special mixture of different metal pigments. The incorporation of metal pigments also guarantees good light resistance of the incorporated colour and thus offers new design possibilities, especially in the field of architecture.
