From October 6 to 8, 2026, the international aluminum industry will gather at ALUMINIUM in Düsseldorf, and we’ll be right in the thick of it. You’ll find us in Hall 3 at Booth 3F45: featuring specific topics related to process costs, flexibility, and process reliability in surface treatment, with plenty of space for meaningful discussions, and—for the first time—with partner companies hosting their own booths alongside ours.

One booth, many possibilities

Our island booth combines information and networking: In the open get-together area with a bar, you can easily strike up a conversation with our team, and meeting rooms are available for more in-depth discussions. In the presentation area, we explain processes and application examples in aluminum surface treatment, from pretreatment to compaction.

New this year: Partner companies will be showcasing their offerings at their own booths right here at our event. This way, you can find process chemistry, plant engineering, and continuing education all in one place, and discuss topics directly across different disciplines.

Our Topics at ALUMINIUM 2026

Our presentation focuses on issues that many companies are currently grappling with:

Reducing Energy Costs:

In degreasing, etching, anodizing, and densification processes, bath temperatures can be optimized by up to 40% using Alfinox 510, Alfiseal 1960, and Alfideox 87/2. This reduces energy consumption while maintaining consistent quality.

More flexible coating:

With the Alfipas 7816 multi-metal passivation system, you can pretreat a variety of substrates on a single production line, giving you greater flexibility in terms of materials and application combinations. And for those who want to upgrade their existing equipment rather than make a new investment: We provide on-site support through our manpower service for retrofit projects.

Safe Handling of Recycled Aluminum:

Aluminum can be recycled almost indefinitely, which is why recycled aluminum is being used more and more frequently. Its altered alloy composition poses challenges for processes that were originally designed for primary aluminum. We are addressing this trend with products such as Alfideox 75.

A Variety of Colors in Anodized Aluminum:

Electrolytically or organically dyed: At our booth, we’ll showcase a color palette featuring both dyeing processes and advise you on which method is best suited for your application.

Our Partners at the Booth

Surface treatment is a team effort. That’s why we’re pleased to welcome three partners to our booth at ALUMINIUM 2026:

AluAcademy is our digital training platform for customers and partners, a closed-access learning platform featuring in-house courses and knowledge management resources focused on aluminum surface treatment. You can experience the platform firsthand during a live demo at our booth.

HeatAL, based in Modena, Italy, is introducing the Matrix DRS, a patented system for cleaning extrusion dies: it is a closed-loop system that requires no exhaust ventilation, features significantly shorter response and cycle times, and reduces chemical consumption by up to 50%. The Matrix DRS will be showcased as a new technology at the trade show.

Karma, based in Pesaro, Italy, designs and manufactures machines for the mechanical surface finishing of aluminu, ranging from polishing, brushing, grinding, and blasting to automatic loading and unloading systems. At its booth, Karma is showcasing a sample catalog featuring surfaces achieved using Karma machines.
