The Tin – ColorAL process is based on tin (II) salts and is known for the variety of colours produced from C31 (champagne colours) to C35 (black). The tin – ColorAL process is based – as the name suggests – on tin(II) salts and is applied by means of alternating current.

The two-step colouring process has been tried and tested for many years and is used especially in architecture. It offers many advantages that not only affect the result, but also make the process more pleasant to use. For example, many colour shades can be created by adding ready-to-use products from Alufinish. In addition, special Alficolor stabilisers are available that improve the throughing power of the colouring and support the stability of the bath.

All benefits:

  • Reproducible bronze colours going from light bronze to black
  • Electrolytically coloured oxide layers, consequently a verifiably high level of colour stability
  • Consistent operations and process reliability thanks to stabilised colouring solutions
  • Long bath life though low maintenance effort
  • Particularly decorative surfaces are possible in combination with mechanical pre-treatment
  • Can be easily integrated into existing facilities
  • Individual components can be analysed or by specific laboratory cell test; simple process management
