Important reminder for our European customers – act now!
Due to the EU authorisation decision for the continued legal use of chromium trioxide (as a pure substance or in mixtures) until September 21, 2024, the following deadlines must be met:
Until March 18, 2021 at the latest:
Submit your own downstream user notification(s) for your use(s) to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
Until June 18, 2021 at the latest:
Performing new on-site exposure measurements (according to article 2(6) of the authorisation decision).
Until December 18, 2021 at the latest:
Submit your measurement data from the exposure measurements to ECHA.
Please do not miss these deadlines. The use of the following Alufinish products containing chromium trioxide is affected:
