In addition to pure organic colours, salts based on ferrioxalates are usually used for gold colouring in anodising operations. For decades, these salts have enabled intensive and durable gold colouring, which is often used for the design of facades in the architectural sector. Until now, powdered colouring products based on ferrioxalates had to be pre-dissolved before the actual colouring could take place in the bath. Alficolor Gold 602 avoids this additional work as it is a liquid product.
After a colouring time of 5 to 10 minutes, an intensive gold colouring appears. The process is surprisingly easy. After anodising and rinsing, the material is coloured and then rinsed again. The colouring process is just as simple: add water, dose the product, adjust the pH value and temperature – done.
